4-H and FFA Members Attend “The Prequel” and “Big 3”

The Senior FFA Judging team and Junior 4-H team attended “The Prequel” July 15th in Fairview. 

   Stetson Nix, Allison Blocker, Whitney Hanks, and Addley Hanson were the Champion Junior 4-H Team, Allison was also 4th individual!

   Hunter Durkee, Tayen Redgate, and Breya Beck were the Reserve Champion Senior FFA Team, Tayen was also 2nd individual in reasons!

July 19th-21st two Junior 4-H teams and the Senior FFA team attended the “OSU Big 3 Field Days” contest in Stillwater.

   The Junior 4-H teams consisted of Allison Blocker, Stetson Nix, Sage Baird, Whitney Hanks, Raegen Wilson, Paisley Reed, and Addley Hanson. The Senior FFA team consisted of Tayen Redgate, Hunter Durkee, Breya Beck, and Shay Wilson. 

   The first day we evaluated sheep and goats. After the contest we had a great time at the trampoline park! After that we went back to the hotel and worked on giving sets of reasons to each other.

   The second day we evaluated cattle. We went and watched the movie “Top Gun” after the contest. That evening we went to “Lake Carl Blackwell” and had a good time with the Seiling, Goodwell, and Vanita teams! We also worked on reasons there. Thank you Seiling FFA for hosting us! 

   The third day we evaluated swine. The Senior FFA Team  placed 5th in Swine and Hunter placed 8th individually in swine also!
